Senior Backend Developer

What You'll Do

• Refactor and improve legacy code without disrupting production

• Design and build new backend features

• Improve test coverage and system reliability

• Optimize APIs, database queries, queues, and caching

• Help define and enforce engineering standards

• Work closely with product, frontend, and devops

• Troubleshoot production issues and drive them to resolution

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction

What We're Looking For

Technical

• 5+ years of backend development experience

• Strong PHP and Laravel expertise

• Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns

• Strong knowledge of MySQL, Redis, REST APIs, and queue systems

• Experience maintaining and improving large production systems

• Experience integrating third-party services and payment gateways

• Strong testing and debugging skills

• Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
