About the Role

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to create exceptional digital product experiences for the Appliance.io brand, hired through PT Jaggara Global Workforce.

This role is best suited for someone who combines strong user-centered design thinking with polished visual design and a practical understanding of how software products are built.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to turn complex product problems into intuitive, elegant, and implementation-ready design solutions.

This is primarily a UI/UX design role, not a front-end developer role. However, familiarity with HTML, CSS, front-end development principles, and developer handoff is highly preferred.

What You Will Do

• Product UI/UX Design

  • Contribute to the end-to-end design process for web and SaaS products, from discovery to final implementation

  • Create user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma

  • Translate product requirements, user needs, and business goals into clear and effective design solutions

  • Design intuitive interfaces for complex product workflows, dashboards, forms, and user journeys

  • Ensure designs are visually polished, consistent, scalable, and easy to use

• User Research & Usability

  • Conduct user research and analyze insights to support design decisions

  • Advocate for user-centered design through usability testing, research, and data-driven decision making

  • Identify UX friction points and recommend practical product improvements

  • Balance user needs, business goals, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines

  • Use available feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input to improve the product experience

• Design System & Quality

  • Build, maintain, and evolve scalable design systems and component libraries

  • Ensure design consistency across typography, spacing, layout, components, and interaction patterns

  • Follow accessibility standards and UX best practices

  • Perform design QA to ensure implemented interfaces match design specifications

  • Contribute to improving design processes, review standards, and team workflows

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and stakeholders to define product requirements

  • Prepare clear design handoff documentation for engineering teams

  • Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently to stakeholders

  • Work with developers to understand implementation constraints and improve handoff quality

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are mandatory

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products for web and/or SaaS applications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX thinking, interaction design, and polished visual design

• Expert proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Variables, Components, Design Systems, and Prototyping

• Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, interaction design, usability, and accessibility

• Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to typography, spacing, layout, hierarchy, and consistency

• Experience planning or conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into product improvements

• Solid understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG and inclusive design principles

• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and present work confidently to stakeholders

• Experience collaborating in cross-functional Agile product teams

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance user needs with business goals

Nice to Have

• Experience designing website builders, CMS platforms, or drag-and-drop editors

• Experience designing B2B SaaS or enterprise software products

• Experience working in large design teams across multiple products, domains, or business verticals

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles

• Experience using analytics tools such as GA4, Hotjar, or Mixpanel to inform design decisions

• Experience facilitating design workshops or mentoring other designers

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Linear
