We are looking for 2 DevOps Engineers for the Appliance.io brand, hired through PT Jaggara Global Workforce.

This role will take ownership of our AWS cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system reliability. This is not a support-only role. The person in this position will be directly responsible for ensuring our systems run reliably in production, scale efficiently, and remain observable, secure, and stable.

You will work closely with backend engineers to improve system performance, resolve production issues, and build stable, scalable infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment

• Manage and maintain infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and Elastic Beanstalk
• Maintain and improve applications running on AWS Elastic Beanstalk
• Configure and manage development, staging, and production environments
• Improve system scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency

System Reliability & Production Support

• Troubleshoot server, API, and infrastructure issues
• Investigate and resolve production incidents
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
• Improve system uptime and reduce operational risk

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Build dashboards and metrics to track system health
• Ensure issues can be detected and responded to quickly

Automation & CI/CD

• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes
• Reduce manual operational work

Security & Best Practices

• Manage access control, permissions, and secrets securely
• Support backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Ensure infrastructure follows security best practices

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS, especially EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Experience managing production systems and handling incidents
• Strong understanding of backend systems and APIs
• Experience working with PHP-based applications
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Comfortable working in Linux environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker or containerization
• Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience scaling backend systems or handling high-traffic environments
