Today, Jaggara supports companies including Appliance.io, Reusely, Skulytics, Hiu Co., and Jaggara itself.

As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a People Operations Lead who can help ensure our employees have a great experience while maintaining strong operational processes and compliance standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a People Operations Lead to help manage and improve the day-to-day people operations that support our growing organization.

Reporting directly to the Director of Jaggara, this role will own many of the operational responsibilities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, recruiting coordination, and employee relations.

A significant part of this role will involve partnering with leadership teams across both Indonesia and the United States to support hiring, workforce planning, employee support, and organizational growth. Strong English communication skills and the ability to operate in an international environment are critical for success.

This is a hands-on role focused on execution.

The ideal candidate enjoys creating order from complexity, improving processes, solving people-related challenges, and ensuring employees receive a professional and consistent experience throughout their journey with the company.

Key Responsibilities

Employment Lifecycle Management

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

  • Prepare and coordinate employment agreements and related documentation.

  • Ensure employee records remain accurate, organized, and compliant.

  • Coordinate probation reviews and employment status changes.

  • Maintain documentation across all supported companies.

Payroll, Benefits & Administration

  • Coordinate payroll processes with Finance and leadership teams.

  • Manage BPJS administration and employee enrollment.

  • Coordinate THR calculations and annual processing.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions.

  • Support employment-related reporting and administrative processes.

  • Assist with workforce-related operational planning.

Compliance & Labor Relations

  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations.

  • Maintain and improve employment policies and procedures.

  • Support employee relations matters and workplace concerns.

  • Help standardize processes for leave, attendance, and employee conduct.

  • Assist leadership with employment-related decisions and documentation.

Recruiting & Hiring Operations

  • Support active hiring initiatives across the Hiu ecosystem.

  • Source candidates for open positions.

  • Screen applicants and coordinate interview processes.

  • Schedule interviews and manage candidate communications.

  • Coordinate employment offers and onboarding activities.

  • Help improve recruiting processes and hiring efficiency.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Support employee engagement initiatives.

  • Help create a consistent employee experience across all companies.

  • Coordinate internal communications and employee programs.

  • Support professional development initiatives where appropriate.

  • Help reinforce company values and workplace culture.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

  • Develop scalable people operations processes.

  • Improve documentation, workflows, and internal systems.

  • Help leadership create consistency across the organization.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Relations, Recruiting, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws and employment practices.

  • Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, or employee administration.

  • Experience supporting recruiting or hiring processes.

  • Professional English communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working in a technology company, startup, or SaaS business.

  • Experience supporting international teams or organizations.

  • Experience working for both Indonesian-owned and foreign-owned companies.

  • Experience with BPJS, payroll administration, and compliance processes.

  • Experience coordinating recruiting efforts across multiple departments.

  • Experience building or improving HR processes and documentation.

  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.

  • Experience supporting companies with 50+ employees.

  • Familiarity with the Hiu ecosystem, Appliance.io, Reusely, Skulytics, or Jaggara.
